About Me

Hi, I’m Dr. Parsons.

For over a decade, I’ve devoted my professional life to love. In that time, I’ve helped hundreds of people go from almost giving up to having strong, healthy, and loving relationship(s). I started my career as a faculty member at New York University, where I built a program of research to help relationship experts understand why race matters. During my tenure in academia, I sat at tables with the leaders of the field and learned interventions directly from their founders. After 10+ years, I know what works.

My Specialities

I am a licensed clinical psychologist with more than a decade of experience.

I am well trained, practice using evidenced-based interventions, and do this work with my full heart. After starting my career in research, I now spend most of my time working directly with clients in my small private practice where therapy is collaborative, goal focused, and inclusive.

Outside of work, I enjoy baking, dancing, and working out. Most weekends you’ll find me rehearsing on the dance floor or crossing the finish line at a local triathlon, with a gourmet treat waiting for me at home :)
